About Us
Based in sunny Los Angeles, California, JLaservideo has become a community of enthusiasts fixated on bringing fiction to reality—through creativity, design, engineering and fun.
Inspiring Creativity.
At JLaservideo, we want to make the world a little better by putting creativity to work. We are thrilled as ideas materialize into functional designs. We also want to inspire others, so all you builders out there—get busy!
Our store supports our goals, and as you allow us to grow, this interface will continue to evolve into a hub for one-of-a-kind products tailored to you.
Amid temptations to merely watch us build and invent on YouTube, (allowing us to have all the fun!), our site is designed to be a tool to foster your own making method and process.
Growing up,
I used to tear apart the house in attempts to build my own wings, masks, weapons, and of course, pyrotechnics.
I remember crafting my own set of cloth wings and attempting to jump off the barn roof (Thankfully my mom stopped me). This led to a passion for building and innovation that, through trial, error and a wide array of personal injury, became JLaservideo.
Many of you watched as I tinkered my way through web shooters and fire swords, making videos from my dorm room at college, driven by end results and the process that brought them.
Constant learning and even more failure;
In the past year I designed and built my own 12 blade multicopter, a feat I’d dreamed of for as long as I can remember.
Feeling the thrust of the motors push me into the sky made me feel like I was flying,.. Actually by all definitions I was flying!
This was my concrete proof that, with the right tools and mindset, a creator is capable of anything.
The things we make become a part of us.
They are prized accomplishments that remind us why we started in the first place. Flying is one stop along this collective journey that I’ve been honored to share with you.
Our story and products are meant to provide an interactive platform for your innovation. So go ahead, create, produce, enjoy, and send me pictures and videos of your accomplishments.
Thanks always for your support, Let’s see how far we can go!
